DATE, TIME, LOCATION & DESCRIPTION: For July 19, each of the NCBCs has prepared a dissemination event to showcase and explain its actitivities.These events will occur concurrently in the Lister Hill and Natcher Conference Centers conveniently located near each other on the NIH campus. REGISTRATION: Please note that even if you have registered for the NCBC All Hands Meeting on July 17-18, we strongly encourage you to also register separately for the dissemination event of interest to you, to assure seating is available. NATIONAL CENTERS FOR BIOMEDIAL COMPUTING DISSEMINATION EVENTS:

  • (CCB): CENTER FOR COMPUTATIONAL BIOLOGY presents a tutorial session on Computational Neuroscience “Computational Tools for Representation and Analysis of Biological Shape, Form and Size” (MORE INFORMATION)

  • (NCIBI): National Center for Integrative Bioinformatics
    presents a tutorial session on Computational Systems Biology “Computational Systems Biology to Accelerate Research in Complex Disease: Diabetes and Prostate Cancer” (MORE INFORMATION)
  • (MAGNet): National Center for Multi-Scale Study of Cellular Networks offers a presentation and demonstration by Center Director Dr. Andrea Califano of (1) the genomics analysis tools developed by the Center and (2) geWorkbench, the Center’s bioinformatics platform.. “geWorkbench: an interoperable platform for integrated genomics and systems biology” (MORE INFORMATION)
